Arranging to See a Lawyer
Thank you for your interest in our firm. To consult with one of our attorneys, prospective clients must undergo an initial intake procedure. Please call us at (617) 742-0004, and one of our office personnel will arrange an intake for you. In the alternative, you may submit your name, telephone number and the best time for us to call by email on our contact page. (We suggest leaving a telephone number where you will feel comfortable to speak freely about your case.) Someone from our office will contact you to conduct the intake.
The initial intake of a prospective client will be conducted by a law clerk, paralegal or legal assistant. Please note that the information obtained from you is kept strictly confidential by the assistant and the law firm, but that no legal advice can be given during this phone conversation, as the assistant is not an attorney. The intaker will request your contact information and information about the employer that has caused the problem, including name of the employer, your job title, and details about any union membership. This information is obtained so that we can make sure there is no conflict of interest. The assistant will then ask you a few questions to learn, in general, the circumstances that led you to contact our firm, and will schedule an appointment.
Please note that the initial intake process usually lasts between 15 - 25 minutes.
